The month of June brought to our project first dissemination event. In the Croatian city of Trogir, on 12 July 2019, our partners from Centre for Integrative Bioethics (University of Split) presented to the interested public the results of our first intellectual output – “Teacher Guidelines in Early Bioethical Education”. Centre’s representative and our project partner, Josip Guć, held a presentation to the audience consisting mainly from educators, as the primary beneficiaries of the mentioned input. In the City Hall (Rector’s Palace) of medieval city of Trogir, Guć provided introduction as to how to use our Guidelines in the teaching environment, as well as the summary of the whole publication. In presenting the purpose of the whole BEAGLE project, Guć explained to the audience how our Guidelines provide a short instruction to the teachers involved in early education (6-14 years) on the idea, goals and condition of bioethical education in Croatia, Greece, Italy and Slovenia. Furthermore, the booklet also provides a brief introduction to the very idea of bioethics, briefly referring to its historical development, the specific problems it deals with, and the methodology it uses to approach these problems. You can view and freely download our Teacher Guidelines by clicking directly here, or you can find it in our documents here.
